Dr. Ezii Oguibe-Shepherd is the heart and soul of CaringHeart Therapy. With a wealth of experience and knowledge in aging, caregiving, dementia training, and customer service, she has dedicated her life to improving the lives of others. Dr. Ezii holds a remarkable educational background:
Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology and Psychology, Master's Degree in Gerontology, and Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. She also has earned Certification in Brain Injury, Dementia Care, and Aging-in-Place Specialist.
Her extensive knowledge and qualifications make her a true expert in her field. Dr. Ezii's genuine care and dedication to her clients have earned her a reputation for going above and beyond to make a difference in people's lives.

What insurance do you accept?
We accept Medicare Part B, KY Medicaid and private insurance plans.
Do you accept cash payments?
Yes, we accept cash and credit card payments. Our card payment is through Ivy Pay, and card transactions may have a processing fee.

What areas do you cover?
We serve Oldham, Trimble, Jefferson, Bullitt, Shelby, Carroll, and surrounding Counties for our in-home visits. However, telehealth is available for dementia consultation and caregiver training in other counties. Private pay clients can receive our dementia consultation and caregiver training from out of state via telehealth.

Is there a home-bound requirement?
No! We are mobile-occupational therapy providers and not home health services.
